Boat Ramp and Park Key
If you require a key to access the Boat Ramp or Park, please contact POA at (903) 257-5950. Keys are $25.00 each and you must be up to date on your property dues.
Announcement
This is to notify all property owners that the Thunderbird Shores POA has consulted with an attorney, and we have been advised that the September 2019 amendment to our bylaws restricting short term rentals is not lawful and therefore should be removed from our documents at this time. We are continuing to seek legal council moving forward to remain in compliance with the current laws as they change.
Security Camera
To: Thunderbird Shores Community,
During the last General POA Home Owners Fall Meeting, the community voted in support of installation of a Security Camera System at the entrance to our community.
Based on the community vote and request for this system, the board has worked through multiple quotes and has selected the Flock Safety System.
We are happy to announce that the system has been installed and everything is working very well.
We also want to thank those that have gone above and beyond and donated to the camera outside of normal dues. The cost to the community ~ $2500.00/year which again was approved by the community vote.

Abandoned Lots
Any lots that have been identified to be delinquent on their taxes for multiple years, and therefore subject to pursue for purchase via legal proceedings, may be pursued by legal action. To obtain any abandoned lots, please reach out to Linebarger Attorneys at Law to initiate the property title search at https://www.lgbs.com/. The fee to initiate a title search is $250.00 and will be reimbursed to you at the time of sale (via Public Auction), on the county courthouse steps.

Potholes and Street Repairs
Thunderbird Shores Residents, As you all know our neighborhood has much needed road repairs. Henderson County Precinct 2 commissioner, Scott Tuley, has informed our neighborhood that we will have our roads resurfaced in 2023. The county has agreed to install new culvert drain pipes for anyone who requests it before the roads are resurfaced. The property owner is responsible to purchase the drainage pipe in advance. If you have any questions about this, please contact Scott Tuly's office as listed below.
